  Children’s Ministry at Westminster
Children of all ages are always welcomed in our worship services. However, we offer age appropriate learning/worship environments for infants through 5th grade at the 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services.

*You can be part of our children’s faith journey

If you would be willing to help, please contact Sally Van Bokkelen (838-3131), as soon as possible. You can be an integral part of the faith journey of our delightful children. Show them you care! We have lots of materials and ideas.

Nursery Care:  Westminster offers a newly renovated nursery with lots of room for play with updated, child safe toys. Our nursery workers are happy to welcome infants and toddlers each Sunday morning during both worship services. No reservations needed. Just sign-in at the nursery (Room 208) and receive a pager in case our caregivers need to reach you during worship.

Preschool Class: This class is open for children ages 3 – 5 years. Each Sunday during both worship services, age appropriate stories, crafts and snacks delight our children in a playful, spirited setting. Sign-in with the teacher in Room 202. Parent Helpers are always welcome.

WPC Kids: This program is open to Kindergarten through 5th graders. Gathering activities, kids worship (bible lesson, offering, music, prayer and benediction) and small group fellowship time (with crafts, snacks and games) provide a fun environment with education and worship for this age group. Small groups are split into grades but we are always flexible with visitors or siblings who don’t want to separate. Parent Helpers are always welcome.

WPC Kids also participate in monthly mission projects, a Bible Super Bowl as well as several 4th & 5th grade fellowship events throughout the year.
A monthly newsletter to all registered kids provides parents with details on the bible lessons, mission and special event updates, as well as parenting articles.

Mission Work:

WPC Kids participate in weekly offerings for Heart for Africa. We send about $50 monthly for the purchase of corn meal distributed to communities in Swaziland. In addition to weekly offerings, a monthly mission project is planned each month.

***The WPC Kids collected toys for New Opportunities for Romanian Orphaned Children (NOROC), a world mission partner selected by our Mission teamearlier this year. The toys are prizes from "Children's Meals" and Beanie Babies.  Our abundance shared with others makes us a part of God's kingdom work!  Thanks to all who shared in this project!
