We are excited Moms Group has begun here at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
The Mom's Group provides a great opportunity to meet with other moms to relax and socialize;
both church members and non-church members are welcome.
* Moms group meet Tuesday mornings
* 9:15 a.m to 11:15 a.m.
* Room 209
* Childcare available for $7 in the nursery
Moms group is cooking for the homeless one Tuesday each month. Come for coffee, friendship, programs for young mothers and opportunities to serve others. Please also bring any ideas you may have that would be fun to do with the group as we welcome any suggestions you may have. If you can't come for the entire meeting time, please feel welcome to come late or leave early as we know everyone's schedule is busy.

Thoughts from the WPC Moms Group

Tuesday mornings are a midweek break for our Mom’s Group. There’s plenty of coffee, sweet rolls and friendship for breakfast! The children are at preschool or in the nursery with Crystal having lots of fun. I joined them this morning to discuss the importance of prayer and how to talk with God individually and as a family These delightful women shared their earliest memories of going to church. For some it was routine, others attended school and church in the same building with the same childhood friends. Their faith backgrounds are rich and varied, however, all of them wanted their children to have a relationship with God. Around the table they shared their parenting goals – one word had to suffice. Just listen and be in awe of the character traits they prioritized for their children: empathy, hope, love, forgiveness, happiness, health, respect, grace, faith and thankfulness.
