The Westminster Arts Association is a group of individuals that feels closest to God--among other times--when we are singing, playing an instrument, painting, writing, taking photographs, sculpting ... and of course viewing and discussing art. Through the year we plan 2-3 coffee house events and co-sponsor special events, dramas, etc. Westminster coffee houses are "open mic" nights for WPC friends and family to gather, usually on a Sunday evening, and read poetry, sing and play, display artwork, perform dramatic readings ... and especially eat cookies and drink coffee. In 2005, the Westminster Arts Association hosted a Spring Coffee House and a 60's Coffee House over the Summer. In 2004, we opened the WPC Northwest Gallery (to view some artits feature in the gallery click WPC Northwest Gallery) Complete with track lighting and a mounting track--which features WPC artists and their work. We meet sporadically (we're arty types, what did you expect). We'd love for you to join us or share your gifts with WPC.
