MEN’S GRILLING GROUP

This group is open to all men interested in grilling, cooking, baking or just eating!

We have two Weber Grills ready to go, plus a Dutch Oven (camping type with legs), plus a complete kitchen in the South Hall of the church. We meet once a month on the second Monday at the church garage at the south end of our parking lot. We plan to continue meeting throughout the winter. If it is too cold to be outside, we will cook in the South Hall kitchen. We also will use the grill right outside the door and eat dinner in South Hall. 

Our WPC Men’s Grilling Group meets on the 2nd Monday of each month around 5:00 PM. Around 5:30 PM, we start grilling for our group’s dinner and eat at approximately 6:00 PM. Usually, we are done by 7:00 PM. After cleanup, we are home by 7:30 PM.

We coordinate Men’s Grilling night through a master e-mail list. A few days before our Grilling meeting, an email goes out to everyone. You can then respond if you plan on attending and what you plan on bringing to share.

As for timing: we have a few members that show up around 4:00 to 4:30 PM to get grills out and set up to start grilling for the WPC Mission (shelter dinner) delivery. Anyone that can make it is welcome to help out at that time. Then, at 5:15 PM: one designated delivery man drives the prepared dinners to the shelter. Our Men’s Group’s dinner grilling follows the shelter cooking.
