Meet Our Team

  • Senior Pastor/Head of Staff

    Rev. Angela Ryo
    angela@wpcmunster.org

Pastor Angela grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago after immigrating to the U.S. with her family at age 9. She graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor's degree in English Literature. Shortly afterward, she earned a master's degree in teaching and became a high school English teacher, until she finally answered the call to enter full-time ordained ministry. After earning a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from McCormick Theological Seminary, her first call was at First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor, Michigan, as a Lilly Resident Minister. After completing her two-year residency, she was called to Kirk in the Hills Presbyterian Church in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, where she served as the Senior Associate Pastor for Christian Formation for several years.

She's been at WPC, "Where People Care," since 2022 and is loving it!! She enjoys having coffee with friends and strangers alike, long walks, and curling up with a good book.

  • Director of Music and Arts Ministry

    Sara Solis

Sara and her family have been part of the WPC family since 2021. Whether she's up front leading hymns, serving on the praise team, or singing in the choir, Sara always has a song in her heart. Helping people find ways to share their talents in performing arts while spreading the Gospel is something she cares about deeply and strives to accomplish at WPC. Outside of Westminster, Sara is kept busy with her three boys who are involved in scouts, bowling, and acting.

She was thrilled to formally add overseeing the church's Children & Youth Ministry programming to her staff responsibilities in 2022 as she is passionate about our children developing their own faith.

Ginny's heart is in all things missions whether that's building partnerships and supporting with our area nonprofits or serving by redistributing food and planning meals with Loaves & Fishes. She loves traveling, yoga and building community. She is a mom of two boys so when she's not at Westminster, you'll find her volunteering in the Munster schools or at a local park with friends.
