Now retired from full-time ministry, Rev. Mike served several churches as pastor and also nine years as a hospice spiritual counselor. At her request, Mike supports Pastor Angela’s ministry by offering pastoral care when she’s unavailable and periodically preaching or assisting in worship. Outside of WPC, he’s involved with racial justice efforts and other forms of community service. For pleasure, Mike listens to music, experiments with creative writing, and enjoys walks on a scenic bike trail with his wife Valerie. He and Valerie have two young adult children.
